​Gaston Comeau is a self-taught artist from Meteghan Centre currently living in Crescent Beach, Nova Scotia.  He grew up with an interest in drawing and painting which he pursued further after establishing a career as an educator.

Gaston's  paintings are part of an ongoing experiment with colour. He uses a vibrant colour palette to uplift the heart, mind and spirit. They have a liveliness that can create interest with the observer, fostering a link between art, artist and viewer. They are created in an atmosphere of joy and gratitude with an open sense of wonder.
